We studied the impact of climate change on the Cunninghamia lanceolata with main afforestation tree species in the south by analyzing relationship between tree-ring width of C. lanceolata in Fujian Jiangle Forest Centre and climatic factors. The growth of C. lanceolata is significantly and negatively correlated with monthly mean temperature in previous spring (previous April)and winner (November),but significantly and positively correlated with monthly mean temperature in August and monthly precipitation in current July and November. The growth of C. lanceolata is controlled by differential climate during various periods. There is some relevance between dominated factors in various growth stages of C. lanceolata.
