Through the test data of magnetic susceptibility, grain size and organic carbon of 410 soil samples in Jinding loess profile, and combining the chronology data,we analyzed paleo-climate change during the last glacial period in the region. The results show that the loess profile in the region has a complete record of the last glacial climate change. The sediments of the last glacial period comprise 2 thick layers of loess intercalated with 1 weak paleo-soil,while L_1SS_1 includes 3 paleo-soil layers sandwiched by 2 loess layers. During the last glacial period, the area had experienced three climate change stages: From dry and cold to cool and wet,and then to dry and cold. The climate might become from significant dry and cold in L_(1-3) to relatively cool and wet in L_(1-2),and then to significant dry and cold of L_(1-1),and the time nodes of climate change were about at 43. 0 ka and 27. 4ka.
