Based on the tree - ring width data from the International Tree - Ring Data Bank,we established ring- width standardized chronologies. Then,we analyzed the correlation between the standardized chronologies and historical temperature and precipitation in month and ten - day obtained from nearby meteorological stations. In order to discover whether ten - day temperature and precipitation data could draw a better conclusion than monthly data in dendroclimatology study or not,we compared the two correlation results and studied the tree radial growth in a more precise time - scale. The results show that multi - period climate had a cumulative effect on sabina przewalskii radial growth and a stronger impact than a single period climate. Compared with monthly data, the relationship between ten - day climatic data and ring - width chronologies was stronger. What's more,in the dendroclimatology research, ten - day climate data contributed to the more precise to express the relationship between tree - ring and climate, enabling our research to compensate for dendroclimatology study and to provide fresh ideas in this area.
