Based on the standards of life cycle assessment(LCA)of international standards for organization, inventory parameters and boundary of vehicle biogas production LCA for anaerobic fermentation of municipal waste are defined,and calculation method for life cycle inventory(LCI)analysis was proposed.LCA of anaerobic fermentation of municipal waste for vehicle biogas production was studied.Results show that in the vehicle biogas production life cycle,improving the process of anaerobic fermentation is the main way to reduce the energy consumption.The largest environmental pollutant emissions are in the vehicle operation stage.Global warming gives the largest contribution to the environment load.The study reveals a sustainable developing way for the biogas produced by anaerobic fermentation of municipal waste.
