Underground of climate change, many scientists focused on the relationship between vegetation and climate change. Tropical forest in Jianfengling (JFL), Hainan Island is one of the typical tropical forest ecosystems in China. Its long term climatic dynamics is important for global change research. Some climatic factors, such as radiation, humidity and wind, were analyzed based on the meteorological data recorded for the area by the Opened Research Station of Tropical Forest Ecosystem in JFL during the period from 1957 to 2003. The results showed that average annual sunshine hours, precipitation, evaporation, relative humidity, vapor and wind speed was 2 056.5 h, 1 659.4 mm, 1 725.6 mm, 81.68%, 25.49 hpa, 1.66 m?s~(-1), respectively. Annual relative humidity, and annual mean vapor pressure increased significantly (P<0.05), having an increase of 0.75% and 0.38 hpa per 10 year. Annual precipitation exhibited an increasing trend, though an obvious decrease in annual sunshine hours, annual evaporation and mean wind speed were recorded (P<0.05), having a decrease of 101.6 h, 126.9 mm and 0.37 m?s~(-1). The increasing trends of monthly precipitation were not significant, but the decreasing trends of monthly evaporation were significant (P<0.05), except in January and March. The predominant wind direction was due north. The ratio of annual precipitation and evaporation is near to 1.0, it means that water cycle existed balance situation in JFL tropical forest from a long period. Climate warming effect reveals that under global change, there was climate warming process occurring in the JFL tropical forest.
