中文摘要: 由于过度放牧和气候变化等因素的影响,我国天然草地出现大面积的退化。发展小面积优质高产的人工草地是保护和恢复大面积天然草地的有效途径,同时也能稳定提供草原畜牧业发展所需要的优质牧草。我们称之为"以小保大"的草地保护与利用原理。本文简述了"以小保大"原理,并利用试验数据进行了实证,还就我国草业发展的科技问题,提出了建议。
英文摘要: A large area of natural grasslands has been deteriorated in China primarily because of over-grazing and climate changes.Establishing a small area of cultivated pasture with high quality and productivity of forage grass is a key to protect and restore the degraded natural grasslands.The cultivated pasture can also supply high quality of forage grass for the sustainable development of grass-based animal husbandry.We refer to this asSmall vs.Large AreaPrinciple of the grassland protection and utilization,and test it using data of pratacultural experiments.We also make some recommendations on scientific and technological issues of Chinas pratacultural development.
