Based on daily temperature and precipitation data at 23 meteorological stations and, MOD13A3 data in Fujian province during 2000-2014, this paper analyzed the correlation between NDVI and climatic factors at different time scales including annual, seasonal and monthly scale. The results showed changes in vegetation in Fujian and temperature changes were highly correlated (r=0.584) with precipitation and temperature at inter-annual scale. The growth of vegetation responses vary in different seasons. Temperatures and vegetation growth has the most closely relation in summer and autumn. The vegetation growth in spring is mainly affected by precipitation, but the correlation was not significant. At monthly scale, NDVI of June and November was obvious affected by temperature, while NDVI of March to May and November are closely related, and NDVI from July to October and February exhibited closely relation with precipitation. The growth of vegetation was affected by climate warming, and the response of vegetation is delayed to the climatic change.
