As one of the important factors mostly influencing climate changes in cryosphere, snow has been an important researching direction in the international cryosphere research, since it is closely relative to climate changes and the process of hydrological cycle. In order to research the feasibility of snow depth altimetry using GNSS-R,this paper used the GPS snow data received by Colorado University researchers in Colorado,America, and the theory of snow altimetry with single GPS antenna,to analyze and successfully achieve to snow depth altimetry performance. The correlation coefficent between snow altimetry results and field data is about 95.99%.
