Calcium carbonate content is the important measure for climate of the loess and paleosol. This paper is expected to offer some adviles for reconstruction the climatic time series and analysis climate change features. Calcium carbonate content form the ShaoLing Plateau of Xi'an,MaJia Plateau of Baoji and Lantian of Xian was sampled and determined in this paper. Calcium carbonate content of ShaoLing Plateau is far lower than MaJia plateau. The peak occurs on MaJia Plateau and the average content reached maximum,it was 9.17%. Calcium carbonate deposits on L_2 in MaJia Plateau was more than ShaoLing Plateau. And it reflects indirectly that the leaching sediments of Calcium carbonate on ShaoLing Plateau was deeper than those of MaJia Plateau. The transport depth of Calcium carbonate on ShaoLing Plateau(5.6m) was far deeper than Lantian. And it reflects that rain season precipitation on ShaoLing Plateau more and longer than Lantian. The depositions of Calcium carbonate on Lantian was thicker than those of ShaoLing Plateau,it was 0.05m. The average content of Calcium carbonate content on ShaoLing Plateau and Lantian were 12.4% and 38.7%. Soil types was yellow brown in the Late Pleistocene-glacial,and annual temperature was 15 ~ 18℃,and precipitation was 750 ~ 1 000mm by the deposited depth of Calcium carbonate on ShaoLing Plateau and Lantian in Late Pleistocene-last interglacial and modern soil were contrasted. In total,precipitation showed a declining trend from the west to the east on the Guanzhong Plain.
