中文摘要: 可持续是未来污水处理技术发展的核心内容。特别是在涉及全球气候变化的《巴黎协定》落槌后,能源消耗将在很大程度上决定可持续工艺发展的未来。在此情形下,有必要对国内外备受争议的膜生物反应器(MBR)技术进行量化评价,以考察其优、缺点之间的综合(经济、社会、环境)效益,即对其可持续性能进行评价。在建立MBR工艺可持续性能评价指数(S_I)计算模型的基础上,系统阐述并分析S_I涉及的工艺投资与运行费用、工艺运行效果及其稳定性、工艺资源回收与利用程度三方面内容及其相关参数。模型计算结果揭示,在常规情况下MBR工艺的可持续性能还不及传统工艺。换言之,MBR在很大程度上并不是一种可持续性工艺。究其原因,主要是过高能耗与运行成本完全掩蔽了其在良好出水水质与紧凑占地方面的优势。
英文摘要: Sustainability is a crux for the future development of wastewater treatment technologies. Especially under the condition where the Paris Agreement concerning climate change was settled down, energy consumption will determine the future development of sustainable technologies to a large extent. In this case, technology of membrane bioreactor (MBR), which has been debated extensively at home and abroad, has to be quantitatively evaluated to conclude a comprehensive benefit on their merits and demerits in economy, society and environment. Based on establishing an evaluation index model (S_I) for the sustainability of MBR processes, capital and operational cost, processes' effect and their reliability, and resource recovery and utilization were elaborated, and all related parameters and their reasonable ranges in the established model were analyzed and identified. The calculated results of the model revealed that the sustainability of MBR processes was not as good as conventional activated sludge processes. In other words, MBR is basically not a sustainable process, as the high energy consumption and operational cost have totally shield their merits on good effluent quality and small footprint.
