Urban micro-climate environment has been getting worse and worse,block is an organic component of the city,block scale micro-climate is an important factor of the urban micro-climate change. This paper reviews urban micro-climate research on block scale in China. Based on the analysis of research progress,research methods and related research results,the improvement of urban microclimate, the adjustment of underlying surface conditions and the optimization of space form were discussed. At the end of the paper,we put forward the prospect of the urban micro-climate research on the block scale in China.
