Based on remote sensing data of topographic map,MSS,TM,ETM and CBERS,temperature and precipitation data of Qinghai-Tibet,the lakes information data of five periods were acquired by human-computer interaction visual interpretation in the past 37 years. The phase distribution of five periods of the remote sensing data were taken as the control layer,the temperature mosaic difference images and the precipitation mosaic difference images were generated. The Grey relational analysis(GRA) between lakes change and climate change were calculated based on pixel by using ArcGIS software,and the GRA of watershed unit were counted. The results show that the total lake area in Tibetan Plateau was 45693.37km~2,in the early period lakes decreased 1190.52km~2,the lake area increased 6429.18km~2 after 1990,and the lake area of net increase was 5238.66km~2. Precipitation and temperature played more important role in lake increase in north,west and south margins of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The Grey relational degree between precipitation and lake change were relatively high in the central of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
