Climatic and environmental conditions are important factors affecting regional livability. A multi-level evaluation model can be constructed within the framework of meteorological disasters conditions, atmospheric environment conditions, human health conditions, and eco-meteorological conditions, which has 20 indicators in the index system. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method is used to determine the weight of each index, and evaluate the conditions of climatic and environmental livability in core areas of Nanjing Jiangbei New district. The results show that the conditions of climatic and environmental livability in the study area present a increasing tendency and are close to the appropriate livable standards during 20112014. The environmental management and disaster prevention work play an important role in livability during 2011 2014. In the future the government should continue to strengthen the monitoring of the climatic and environmental conditions, so as to further enhance regional livability standards.
