Based on field research data from 360 rural poor households in Chongqing,Heckman Probit two-stage model was used to make regression analysis on rural households perception on climatic change and its adaptive behaviour decision; meanwhile,MNL model was established to analyze the influencing factors of adaptive behaviour choice in the premise that rural household perceives climatic change. Results show that some variables have significant impacts on the farmers perception and decision -making behaviour adaptable to climate change,such as the age of the head of a household, educational level,annual household income,cultivated area and climatic factor. And the age of the head of a household, educational level,annual household net income,agricultural subsidy,obtaining of loans,cultivated area,climatic factor and received technical training all affect farmersadaptive choices. Finally,policies and recommendations facilitating farmers to adapt to climate change behavior are proposed,for the purpose of achieving the comprehensively sustainable development of society,ecology and economy.
