The High Asia region with Qinghai-Tibet Plateau as the core area is an important national snow distribution area and sensitive area for climate change.Snow remote sensing and monitoring products with high precision can help us get better understanding of the regional water and energy cycle process and improve climate, environmental analysis and water resources application potential. However, because of complex terrain in high Asia region, rapid climate change in local plateau and different algorithm of snow products issued currently, the evaluation method, reference data and accurate indicators applied by precision evaluation of different products, which brings challenge for snow products application and evaluation. This paper chooses relatively typical three kinds of data of IMS,MODIS,A-MODIS products which have been issued at home and abroad, carries out the space-time cross comparative analysis based on watershed and uses the same set of ground reference data set and comprehensive index for precision validation and comparative analysis. The results show that in the validation with the use of different amounts of ground observation data, the performance of these three kinds of products is relatively stable.Their total accuracy can reach more than 85%.The recall rate of IMS and A-MODIS product based in microwave observations is higher, while the accuracy and trade-off parameter F value are higher;the snow cover area and trend of these three kinds of products in the early snow season are identical, which have large difference at later stage.Compared to MODIS product,IMS and A-MODIS products are much higher than they actually are, showing that it has great relationship with the quality of cloud cover and microwave data.On the whole, the accuracy of IMS product and MODIS products is close, but the data quality of MODIS snow product is higher. The study can provide objective analysis and assessment for the application of snow remote sensing and monitoring products in the high Asia region.
