To solve the problem of climate change caused by coal chemical industry which produced a large number of carbon dioxide. As a new reduction technology, carbon dioxide capture and storage(CCS) develop rapidly, but it also has risk of leakage. To study the influence on surface of plant. The growth, chlorophyll, protective enzyme, malondialdehyde, proline of field pea and radish were compared and analyzed to reveal the effects of high carbon dioxide concentration in soil on physiological and biochemical characteristics of the two plants. The results showed that under the environment of high carbon dioxide concentration in soil (8%),photosynthesis of radish showed significantly inhibited, and photosynthesis of field pea has been enhanced, protective enzyme system of two plants have shown a certain scavenging ROS and defense capability, the environment did not cause adverse stress on peas and radishes. Two plants showed good adaptive capacity, and field pea was better. The paper provided a theoretical basis and technical parameters for revealing the mechanism of the ecological impact of carbon dioxide geological storage leaks and evaluation of environmental risks.
