A field experiment was performed to investigate the effect of application of biochar based fertilizer (0, 10, 20, 30 t·hm~(-2)) on soil N_2O,CO_2 emissions in 2015 and 2016. It was shown that compared with CK, CO_2-C emissions were increased in 2015 and 2016 by 0.81%-23.05% and 11.66%-30.94%, respectively, while, N_2O emissions were decreased by 13.32%-16.59% and 7.90%-19.57% in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Based on the results, although application of biochar based fertilizer increased soil CO_2 emission, it could effectively reduce soil N_2O emission, and decrease global warming potential (GWP) and greenhouse gas intensity (GHGI). Moreover, the effects of 30·t·hm~(-2) application rate were sustainable between years.
