Analysis on land use variation and its driving force of comprehensive development region for immigrant settlementa case of main stream region of Mid-Shulehe River
The analysis of the land use variation and its driving force of comprehensive development region for immigrant settlement have important scientific significances for revealing the impacts from human activities and climate change on land use. Therefore, the main stream region of the Mid-Shulehe River for immigrant settlement is taken as the study case for analyzing the variation characteristics of the land use within the region from 1970 to 2013 through the techniques of GIS and RS,and then the variation characteristics of the land uses in different years are analyzed in accordance with the relevant landscape indexes. Based on the five aspects of urban-rural construction, agricultural land development, construction of farmland irrigation and water conservancy, ecological improvement and climate change, the impacts on the regional land use are analyzed, while the contribution degrees from the five driving forces mentioned above are quantitatively analyzed in combination with the mutual transformation relationships among all the different land uses, thus the relationship between the variation and its driving force of the land use of the immigrant settlement region is systematically and fully revealed, which provides a basic support for the protection technology of building up the regional ecological barrier.
