Based on reviewing the role of CCUS technology in coping with global changes,in this paper,the research methods of ecological impacts of CO_2 leakage in China domestic geological storage were combed,and the progress in environmental impact research of CO_2 leakage on soil and its microbes,plants and crops,water quality and fish,and terrestrial animals were summarized; the status and problems in different research fields were analyzed,including impact of CO_2 leakage on environmental media such as soil,surface water and groundwater,and on different living organisms such as plants and crops, soil microorganisms and terrestrial animals and fish,and screening of ecological monitoring indicators for CO_2 leakage; the research trend of three aspects of geological storage CO_2 leakage were proposed,including the mechanisms of multi-factor, cross-media and fluid flow in the influence of CO_2 leakage on environmental media,adaptation and inhibition impact mechanisms of different living organisms and screening indicative ecological monitoring indicators in ecological impacts of CO_2 leakage,and the transformation of research methods from indoor and outdoor simulation to field investigation of projects.
