At present, the issue of climate change has become increasingly prominent, which attracts wide spread attention of the whole society. Their formation and development are largely influenced by the natural environment conditions. And the impact of climate change on traditional Chinese medicine resources has been paid more attention gradually, but there are still many problems. This paper systematically summarized the potential effects of climate change on the quantity, distribution, production and quality of traditional Chinese medicine resources, on this basis, some counter measures to cope with climate change were put forward. For better coping with climate change, we need to provide a theoretical basis and scientific reference, so as to realise the sustainable development of Chinese medicine resources and ensure the safety of traditional Chinese medicine.
