Phase change microcapsules and porosity moisture-conditioned materials were utilized to prepare composite phase change moisture-conditioned materials that were featured with thermal storage and regulation as well as moisture buffering. They have been applied in building wall configurations to regulate indoor air temperature and humidity so as to further reduce building energy consumption. In this paper,a heat and moisture transfer model that covered the calculation of phase change process was firstly constructed based on coupled heat and moisture transfer theory, which was also known as the coupled heat and moisture phase change enthalpy method. After verification,it was adopted to calculate and analyze application effects of the composite phase change moisturecontrolled materials in a comfortable air conditioning room under two circumstances of typical climatic conditions. The associated results indicated that these materials had capabilities to effectively reduce indoor temperature and humidity fluctuations. In dry heat and moist heat climatic regions, building energy consumptions could be separately brought down by 28. 8% and 11. 6% approximately.
