The global averaged sea surface temperature(SST) in 2017 was higher than normal 0.29~0.43 ℃,which was the third year since 1960,only next to 2015 and 2016.It was also the hottest year of the ocean without the effect of El Nino event.During the period of 1960-2017,the annual mean SST in China has a significant fluctuating trend,with the rate of 0.16 ℃ per decade.In 2017,annual mean SST of the China Seas was higher than normal 0.64 ℃.2017 was the second hottest year of the China Seas since 1960,only next to 1998.Based on the records from the National Oceanographic Observation Network of China,the annual mean SST of the coast of China was warming with the rate of 0.15℃ per decade,which was higher than the rate of the global mean SST 0.11 ℃ per decade.In 2017,the SST over the China coast was higher than the normal 0.8 ℃,which was the highest record since 1960 and higher than the record in 2015 about 0.2 ℃.During the period of 1965-2017,surface air temperature(SAT) of the coast of China was increasing with the rate of 0.30 ℃ per decade.In 2017,China's coastal SAT was higher than the normal about 1.1 ℃ which was also the highest record since 1965 and higher than the record in 2016 about 0.2 ℃.
