| 英文摘要: | CAIT is a suite of online data and visualizations tools that support the many dimensions of climate policy making. It provides free, open, user-friendly access to world-class climate data from a desktop, tablet or mobile device — enabling analysis whenever you need it.
The CAIT tool consists of a central data explorer and a number of analytical and visualization modules, such as the CAIT Equity Explorer and the CAIT Pledges Map. These modules take advantage of the depth and breadth of the CAIT database and additional functions for other audiences, like businesses are planned in the future. Through its powerful yet easy-to-use online interface, the core CAIT data explorer is designed to help users from government, business, academia, civil society, and the media efficiently compare, explore, understand, and communicate climate data. The web site includes data for 186 countries as well as all 50 U.S. states, providing accessible, transparent, high-quality information to support the many dimensions of climate change policy making. The international data collection covers more than 160 years, offering carbon dioxide emissions data from 1850-2011, energy carbon dioxide emissions data from 1971-2011 and a full multi-sector greenhouse gas emission inventory from 1990-2011. |
