英文摘要: The relationship between research and education has been a subject for debate in higher education research, with ambiguous and sometimes contradictory empirical results. The report presents some of the key arguments in existing studies by exploring various types of linkages between education and research. NOKUT and the Research Council of Norway are collaborating to develop an evaluation model (“Integrated Academic Evaluations”) for academic research, education, and the interplay between the two in Norwegian higher education. The literature review conducted has been the basis for suggesting possible indicators for carrying out such an evaluation.
