英文摘要: Even before the onset of the credit crunch and the global economic meltdown, energy markets were already in the midst of signifi cant change. Energy demand growth earlier in the decade had eroded existing spare capacity, creating persistently tight markets in which any geopolitical or weather-related supply interruption often resulted in precipitous spikes in commodity prices.
