英文摘要: The recent proposition by Mohanty et al. (2015) that the lower part of Sausar Group of rocks in central India has a glacial origin, and represents a major Paleoproterozoic super-glaciation event, contradicts some well-established geological and geochronological data on these rocks put forward by other workers in recent past. The merits of this conclusion are discussed here. © 2015 Elsevier B.V.
