In order to study the change of agro- climate environment and its influence in recent 50 years, average temperature, ≥10℃ accumulated temperature, rainfalls, sunshine duration, and frost- free period during growing season of 7 meteorological stations in Dalian between 1961 and 2010 were chosen as indexes to analyze the change in agro- climatic environment of Dalian. The results showed that: the agro- climatic environment had undergone significant changes in the past 50 years, average temperature, ≥10℃ accumulated temperature and frost- free season remarkably increased from 1961 to 2010, however rainfalls and sunshine duration was on the decline trends. The trends of average temperatures, ≥10℃ accumulated temperature, frost-free period and sunshine duration were significant. As a result, thermal resources in Dalian increased significantly in the past 50 years, and the northern boundary of planting moved north, such as cherry, and the farmers would have more chances to adjust planting structures.
