| 英文摘要: | Worldwatch currently holds the secretariat of the Low Emissions Development Strategies Global Partnership (LEDS-GP) Energy Working Group, a demand-driven network of more than 260 energy sector experts from national governments, multilateral institutions, the private sector, and NGOs. Under the broader LEDS GP framework, the Energy Working Group is coordinated by a Secretariat. The head of the Secretariat serves as the EWG’s Chair, assisted by a Steering Committee including Co-Chairs from each of the three target regions: Africa, Asia, and Latin America & the Caribbean.
The Energy Working Group (EWG) seeks to support innovative and effective sustainable energy solutions. The Working Group advances low emission development in the global energy sector by facilitating learning and information exchange, sharing best practices, offering advisory services, and providing enhanced opportunities for collaboration on low emission strategy building and specific implementation activities. Worldwatch’s work with the Energy Working Group supports the activities of the LEDS GP Secretariat, Regional Platforms, and other Working Groups. |
